Resident Evil at 25
DESCRIPTION:
Resident Evil is the godfather of Zombie games - it may not be the first (that honour goes to the 1984 game Zombie Zombie on the ZX Spectrum), but it is definitely the most well-known. Earlier this year, the original game turned 25 and to commemorate that fact, GameSpot have edited together a video of all the highlights, comical misfires and down right strangeness the franchise has brought over its 25-year history. It looks to the future too, briefly, showing some footage for the soon-to-be-released, Resident Evil 8. Since it is looking increasingly likely that RE 8 will not involve Zombies, we will probably have to wait for the planned remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica before Capcom again lets us play with the lurching dead.
