DEAD ARE COMING...

Dead Island: Definitive Collection - Announcement

DESCRIPTION:

Before Techland created the huge Zombathon that was Dying Light, there was Dead Island - a weird mash-up of tropical island paradise and nightmarish Zombie outbreak. The first game, while falling slightly under Dying Light in the putrid halls of Zombie brilliance, was still an epic blast of a game. It was soon followed by Dead Island: Riptide - a game which, I ashamed to say, fell off my radar shortly after release. Well, now they're back, and in a big way. Both games are receiving a graphical overhaul and their respective user interfaces are being given a tweak to meet up with modern gaming in one unholy bundle bound for next generation consoles and the PC. Dead Island: Definitive Collection also features Retro Revenge - an all-new 16-bit side-scrolling arcade game set in the Dead Island universe - which will serve as a nice distraction from the up-close, "you've got red on you" action from the two mainstays. I'm really, really excited for this one as 2016 shapes up to be the year of the Zombie. With a release date of May 31st, it will only be a few short Months until we can, once again, return to the sun-soaked island of Banoi.
