Zombified Wookie

DESCRIPTION:
This wonderful drawing is inspired by the novel Star Wars: Deathtroopers - a book that I really enjoyed and have reviewed in the Books section of this site. It depicts a Wookie that has contracted the Zombie virus. I dread to think what an actual Zombified Wookie would be like. Wookies are renowned in the Star Wars universe for their immense strength and violent hand-to-hand combat - a habit nicely summarised by Han Solo when C-3PO wonders why he should worry about upsetting Chewbacca in a game of chess: "That's 'cause droids don't pull people's arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookiees are known to do that.". However, the Zombie virus now flowing beneath the furry hide of the Wookie will undoubtedly make it much more volatile - he will need no incentive to let lose his massive force, failing teeth and open wound ready to spread the infernal poison to new hosts. This is one Wookie, you definitely do not want to let win.
