DESCRIPTION:

Zombies have overrun San Francisco. A group of survivors hold out on Alcatraz Island, trying to find a vaccine for the mysterious plague that brings the dead back to life. However, when the tide washes a flotilla of hungry Zombies onto the island, a frantic battle for survival begins as the small group of the living are forced out of their formerly safe prison, back into the infested streets of the mainland.

MY VERDICT:

There's not much to say about this lacklustre Zombie flick. The Zombies look appropriately dead but seem to switch, continuously and without reason, between fast-moving sprinters and slow-moving shufflers. The story is vague at best and resident hardman Danny Trejo is killed too quickly to have any lasting effect. Watchable but best avoided unless you love everything with Zombies in it.
