THE DEAD TIMES
DEAD ARE COMING...
Video games, like movies, are a huge industry that Zombies have infiltrated. Every feeling, every detail, every hideous Zombie moan can be heard, felt or seen by you, the gamer. No longer are these mindless creatures confined to movies and books, providing you the safety of abstraction - this time, you are right in the thick of it.
Horror is magnified as each action is left up to you to perform - no one has the pre-determined solution already laid out. Action is more frantic as the droves of dead do not fear your bullets - swarming you with overwhelming force. Survival becomes a task in itself as resources like food and water dwindle, requiring you to risk death at the hands of the undead. Games make the Zombie apocalypse that much more real - that much more tangible - and this is why I love them, the opportunities they provide to do things seemingly simple fantasy, the experiences beyond that of a normal life.
I adore games involving Zombies - you may have contrary opinions. Let those opinions be known in the comments section for each game but, be polite and avoid harsh language. Failure to comply will result in that comment being deleted from existence.
Heaven forbid I've missed a piece of interactive entertainment focused on Zombies - I'm always on the hunt for them. Please, if you can recommend any, stand up to the undead freaks and do whatever it takes to get over to the Contact page. I await your info with the same anxiety of waiting for a treasured friend to return from a supply run in hostile territory.
