MY VERDICT:

This is an epic read of almost a thousand pages of true Zombie horror. It's a comic series and I usually stay away from comics but with the success of AMC's TV show, I decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did as this gem of a series is wonderfully illustrated in stylised black and white and has a superb plot which goes miles beyond the tired and boring 'kill all Zombies' norm. I was hooked until the very end and was extremely surprised at how quickly I got there, considering the size of this weighty tome. I thoroughly recommend it.
