THE DEAD TIMES

DEAD ARE COMING...

Should The Dead Times go commercial?

Hello there Zombie-fans, time for something a bit different. Departing from my usual wordplay on Zombie related subjects (don't worry, things will go back to normal in the next update), I have launched a pole - the question simple: Would you like to see The Dead Times become commercial?

I've had the idea of trying to get The Dead Times commercial before, to make into something I can work on full-time as a "proper" career, giving interested readers more articles, more reviews, more hosted YouTUBE videos and the larger content I just don't have time for at the moment; episodic diaries, regular news comments, semi-regular competitions and short stories. However, I abandoned the concept back then; it is quite a daunting task which, new to the writing game, I did not think I could pull it off to a high enough degree to warrant people paying money for it in some way.

The Dead Times has been going for over four years now and I would like to think I've grown in quality, I'm ready to rise up, a reanimated corpse, having shattered its coffin, hoping to smash down the door of the relatively unknown tomb that confines its putrid soul and usher in the beginning of an exponentially-spreading infection that will, one day, envelop the entire word... and hopefully eat some brains along the way.

So what do you think about this goregasmic idea? I'm 100%, top-draw, hands-down excited but a good website is nothing without its readers. The poll is embedded down below where the dark things live. I have also put the poll up on Twitter for any of you that prefer this global source of terror. Voting closes at 20:00 on May 26th. With your votes, the unearthly knowledge that only you can provide, I can guage the next course of action - an aimlessly wandering corpse, waiting for the stimuli of fresh meat, to give him direction, purpose, a reason for being.

Have something more to say than a simple click can convey? Feel free to leave a comment - I would love to hear your thoughts.
